Its all around us wherever we go.I was in Argos  buying my wife her Christmas pressie( Top of the range ironing board)and the assistant told me to "take care" as i sidled off.I popped into the local last night and again i was told to "take care" by the barmaid as she handed me my change.Every fcking phonecall i take the caller rings off by telling me to "take care".

These people couldn't give a flying if i was to walk outside and fall down  the nearest manhole so why say it?..this false Bonhomie is creeping in everywhere..i phoned through a bet the other day and the operator finished the call by telling me" to enjoy the race"!!! fck off.......TAKE CARE Y'ALLGrin

Report Joel • December 31, 2014 8:24 AM GMT
'Take care of what?' is what my old man says if someone on TV says it
Report Ken Masters • December 31, 2014 8:47 AM GMT
Look after yourself, buddy.

To be fair to the Argos assistant, they might have had concerns about your welfare on Christmas Day when Mrs Twizzle opened your gift.

I suppose, if you look hard enough, you can find something to moan about in everything and everybody. Sad
Report Joel • December 31, 2014 9:31 AM GMT
Your username really should start with a capital letter naydam

Joel. Obviously my forum name should begin with a capital letter but I took a lead from the other names in use, at that time. I noticed that the general example seemed to be a lower case latter. So, I followed suit...not wishing o stand apart from the general forumite. That was my first mistake.

My second mistake was to assume that the moderators wouldn't accept a swear word in a username. Otherwise I would have been called Nay Damn!

So, there you are...give a poster a bad name   Sad

Worse than that naydam is the fella who touts around the various forums and speaks in the third person..crooser is his name..most peculiar chap.
Report naydam • December 31, 2014 12:13 PM GMT
A Happy New Year to you too, Twizzle and to all the other forumites, too. And THAT is NOT 'false bonhomie'. GrinGrin

Hopefully, we can all continue to have our similarities and our differences. Life works best with a combination of both points of view.
Report Ken Masters • December 31, 2014 12:14 PM GMT

Oh! And the McCanns didn't do it...but that detective fella is dead dodgy. Falsification of evidence. Perjury. Not a good track record.

But we'll keep all that for the New Year!  GrinGrinGrin
