I hope you all have a great day and a very healthy, happy and prosperous 2015. I'm cooking for everyone, will be a bit sozzled by the afternoon of course and will try not to cheat at Monopoly but I can't promise that. I'm teaming up with smarty nephew Charlie at trivial pursuit so we should win that at a hack canter. Christmas day at Blue house is always a bit of a battle, wouldn't have it any other way.

For some reason i never really drink on christmas day, maybe because i know i will have to play board games/cards with the nephews/nieces all evening and I cant let the nippers win
The truth would be i have to play a big poker tournie in the evening, apart from they would not understand, plus it helps me look normal.

.... in fact, especially good wishes to any forumite reading just now : contrary to appearances, we ain't some kind of sad-cases, just people with reasons to be passing a bit of time here - in my case, I'm a supermarket night-worker (must've done somethin' truly awful in a previous life) who can't just switch to 'normal hours' just 'cos I got 2 days off.

I'm a support worker and was working with someone at their house. I cooked us both a lovely Christmas dinner. We had a very nice day
