Not heard on the BBC yet though…

Six people have been charged with a total of 29 offences, including rape and sexual assault, against a woman at a property in Redhill.

Four men, aged between 19 and 26, and two 17-year-old boys were charged with various offences including sexual assault, attempted rape and rape on December 16.

The offences are said to have occurred over a five-day period in October against a woman, aged in her 20s.

All six are due to appear at Redhill Magistrates' Court on January 19.

A man, aged in his 20s and from Surrey, was also charged with four counts of rape and two sexual assaults on October 29 and is due before Guildford Crown Court on January 23.

A man, aged in his 30s and from Surrey, has been reported for rape.

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Sailesh Limbachia, said: “Surrey Police encourages all victims of sexual assault and abuse to come forward and speak with specialist officers and staff so that we can fully investigate the offences and do all we can to find those responsible and bring them to justice.”

The vitally important BREAKING NEWS…

… from 3,000 miles away……

for the BBC was a police officer (or it wouldn't be reported) shot dead a black teenager (quelle surprise) in St Louis.

Less than 2 miles from where the other one was shot dead 4 months ago.

Not many shootings by police in the U.S.A, are there? Only 2 in 4 months...

I never saw one word on the BBC about the black police officer who shot dead an unarmed Hispanic youth a few weeks ago in the U.S.A., or the lack of rioting after it.

Redhill is not far from me. It is often the coldest place in Britain.

It's not in the Redhill and Reigate life website either. The do have however a report on a man who suffered "puncher" wounds after a robbery.

Some bad things going on out there. Those guilty of rape should have their nuts chopped off.

Can anyone explain why Bryan Ferry's son being in a car crash has topped the 'most read' on BBC News for most of the day? Confused

Absolutely baffling

Possibly because most people read it. Did you? Not really baffling.
