Look at the volume.
Thin trading as usual over Christmas.

Another 80 points higher and there's resistance to overcome.
Go up another 100 points and there's even more.

If they can't push the prices through that lot quickly they'll be going back down for a real shakeout. Imo.

It's not a new high in the UK. The FTSE is more than 300 points below its all time high.

Incredible when you think that it peaked at 6950 ish 15 years ago.

What's the previous longest time it's taken to recover? Four years at a guess?
