Some real cringeworthy arty farty stuff on the box, particularly this time of the year. No doubt there's some poncey ad agency award for the best one.

The one with Gerard Butler is ultra cringeworthy, stuff like 'for men of today' blah blah blah

Quite like the one where Matthew McConaughey and Scarlett Johansen meet up, stand on a balcony, then have to get back to work. Lynx Africa or something. I wish all perfume was that humdrum.

Lynx Africa! That did make me chuckle.

Surely the winner for most pretentious is the Ralph Lauren one with the guy in the Sports car and the woman in the speedboat. Total utter garbage.

You'd think that they'd make some new 'uns with the prices they charge. Half of 'em are still in black and white!
