John Freeman from Face to Face fame has died....

Remember an interview with Hancock which  I have seen a few times but late 50's early 60's was just before my time.

There's a tribute to him in the mail today,can't remember the interviews but he seems like he led a very interesting life and would certainly be no fan of the current celebrity circus.

He made Gilbert Harding cry.

The BBC has a box set of Face to Face interviews which includes Hancock and Harding (already mentioned) as well as Martin Luther King and King Hussein of Jordan, and a few sportsmen so there is some common ground with modern chat shows. As you can see on the chit chat web cam, my copy is still shrink-wrapped.
