Niether did John Rickman, (always had the decency to doff his cap on ITV after failing to find a winner) but big John was wise enough to know that a Canadian was a completely sh+t bet.

He was a gent and we only lost 7 single bets as opposed to 63, profitable days, god bless john.

They played "If you could read my mind" at the end of a movie i once saw.

It was quite haunting.

Wonderful songwriter/performer. One of me favourites.

"The Last Time I Saw Her Face" one of the loveliest songs ever written, imo.

Very nicely covered by Glenn Campbell but Gordon's rendition so haunting.

Umpteen other brilliant songs. Quite underrated, imo.
