Hundreds of thousands of men around the world are falling victim every year to a pernicious form of online crime.
It has been nicknamed "sextortion" and is a form of blackmail.
Victims are normally lured in through social media sites; the blackmailers are criminal gangs operating in countries like the Philippines.

kenbo they showed on news, they have a computer program and can click "smile" and "wave" and all that depending on what's being said, so it's more interactive and realistic.

I saw that bit JC, I just don't think I could ever believe I was in a 'live chat' if I had to click a button to make them wave or smile.
I've 'stumbled' upon a few live chat sites while online and think I could tell the difference very easily. |
