War of the worlds is on film 4, and it's the original with the much better CGI and a guy whose wardrobe was previously used in a B Western. Did you prefer the remake, and if so, how long have you secretly manloved Tom Cruise?
(I prefer the remake actually. They should remake the Godfather so it's not tedious and sh*t).

For anything sci-fi CGI and so on makes it so much easier to be better, if they can make the effort.
I watched Battleship the other day, absolutely rubbish plot full of plotholes, but effortless CGI. Skyline another similar film recently, weak plot but interesting CGI. A short while after I posted this, Diaz is on the one show as they've remade Annie. There's a new controversial remake coming out soon what was it .. ****, I just had a look and they are talking about remaking Ghostbusters, ALL FEMALE! I suppose with two girls, it's much harder to "cross the streams"    |

The german version of Downfall. Not many people know there was an English version of this film made many years earlier. The two films had different names but they acted out word for word.
