Is this going to be like the Led Zep gig where the likes of Beckham and his bint decided they had to be there and the real fans struggled for tickets?

Perhaps not as bad but if the Beckhams get tickets to this i will be mightily waanked off!

Beckham was asked if he knew AC/DC. He said he still struggles with the alphabet sometimes. Then him and his wife got VIP tickets anyway so they could be photographed going into Wembley.

Will go the Hampden gig and queue for the front, but not a fan of stadium gigs unless you're right up close.

Let's hope they do headline Glastonbury , the tree hugging audience still haven't recovered from Metallica being allowed to play , quite how they would cope with another rock band appearing .......

saw them on the Black Ice Tour at Manc Arena last time and they were amazing, sadly their new album apart from the 1st 3 tracks is a long way off their best imo.

Saw them in 82 at the NEC in Brum, that was too big a venue for me.
Went to see U2, Simple Minds, Thin Lizzie, Scorpions and many more when you could pay on the door as we would catch them early in career.

As soon as the promoters sold them the idea they could do 5 large gigs instead of 40 small ones (mid 80s), 300/500% price rises and 30,000 plus crowds were a way of telling the fans to go f**k themselves.

Missed out on a ticket for Springsteen in 1980 at Stafford Bingley Hall, next time he toured it was Wembley and celeb filled front rows ffs, never getting involed in that ta very much.

Saw Muse and the Killers a couple of times each in recent years as they both stayed loyal to the fans in smaller Arena`s like Nottm. for as long as they coul,

I saw the Killers at the o2 academy in Liverpool in august - just over 1000 people there - just like the old days

I've always said that out of all the bands I've seen over the last 40 years that AC/DC was the best of all of them.

No worries, Mac - hope ye found yer requirement.

Ain't no danger I'll be paying £80 odd for a DC gig without a personal appearance wi Lemmy.

Just an educated guess, when someone asked him about Black Dog, he said he had never touched Mel B. He only went to the Led Zep gig because it was `the happening event in the music calendar for years` he is a face, a name. Don`t tell me the R&B/ hip hop lover was just one of the lucky ones in the auction.
