Brand is mega pro-immigration. He believes we have no right to refuse entry to others as they are simply people who used to live somewhere else. The mans a plank. But we all know the audience will be stupidly loaded in the liberal luvvie funnyman who stands up for the underclasses favour. Hope Nige demolishes him. You'll know Farage is winning if Brand starts resorting to humorous but insulting put downs and snide remarks. |

Thing is most qt audiences are full of political activists,lentil munching tattooed/pierced social workers,teecherz and coonts doing their 5th degree on the open university but have never worked,if you had a quid for every socialist workers party member in the audience since the start you would be a wealthy man.

Peter Hitchens did that to Brand when them met on air, Brand just shut up after the first salvo. He found himself completely out of his depth with Hitchens, it'll be the same with Farage. Brand is a laughing stock, he's only on the show because he's a name. |

Regardless of his politics Farage is known as a brilliant debater so it could be embarrassing for Brand. Look out for the "humorous" put downs and grins to the audience and you'll know Brand is on the ropes.

Yes I thought that was how it was...this is the mistake there should not be one for and one against.
Every question needs a scientific approach and there is a solution, the approach must be to find answers not to care about winning some silly debate...often the winner will be wrong, in any event the oxford approach is entirely what is wrong. |

I disagree. Wholeheartedly. What most people want is to think and feel that their lives will get better - they don't give two hoots about the approach, mathematical or otherwise, as long as they feel things improve. Blair understood that - people believed in him. Brown didn't. |

I agree that only politicians should be on the show. Question Time is a political programme. We all know that 99% of politicians are comedians, but Russell Brand is neither a politician nor a comedian!
