I particularly liked Chestnut Mare- a lesser known Byrds tune.

We were lucky to have that music instead of todays aggressive (C)Rap music, young girls shaking there assets at the camera and boyband pap!

Pinky and Perky were no strangers to the pop charts. Without wishing to sound like a typical contributor to an execrable BBC4 Rock Documentary, part of their oeuvre included a 1968 high-watermark period of British psychedelic pop reading of "Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines", which appropriately was given a double A-side pairing with "Yellow Submarine".

Sadly 'Those Magnificent Men…'  no longer appears to be on YouTube but I'm sure Lennon and McCartney adored their cover of "Yellow Submarine"

Not really rtb....when talking about nostalgia, it has to be from what were your most memorable years, which for
me were the sixties and seventies, but I similarly love a lot of much later stuff (witness the fact that many of my
posted favourites span every decade). 

Also, going back a tad, I just received one from the late 17th century (don't know why it took so long to get to me though)!
