dotch, because theyre increasing at an alarming rate, as is the numer of severely affected families, even working familes, some misuse them,but theyre defintiely needed, and it's quite frankly outrageous that a so called 'rich' country has any need of them.

All we need to do is redistribute the welfare budget in a fairer way. It shouldnt be that hard.
It would be interesting to see some analysis as to what categories food bank users fall into. One thing that is need is the lazy workers in the benefits offices need a good kick to ensure benefits are paid without delay. That is unforgivable.
I would also like to see why people are sanctioned and have benefits stopped so I could judge whether the system is unfairly harsh or most have brought it on themselves.
