Sadly it happens a lot this time of year and it will only get worse for the next 3 weeks or so. People fill up their guts with booze ,roasts and sprouts then hit the pubs or shops maybe football even. They will then drop their guts in public and watch the after effects. Sometimes in the January sales somebody will walk past a large queue and drop one, a sort of tame British version of a US drive by

My brother-in-law accidently did this whilst dining out once, he apologised to the rather posh lady and her partner on the next table in the restaurant "Oh - don't worry" the lady replied " my father does it all the time whilst rounding the frozen food aisle in Tesco's"....................
