Soon the only people eligible for treatment will be those who don't need it. Then they'll say "What queues?"

.....and hopefully ban the aggressive drunks at A&E

About time too that gluttony is shunned.
Becoming far too acceptable. The NHS will literally collapse under the weight unless people are told to take some responsibility for their waist-lines. |
|
By:
introduce a sugar tax.
on ALL sugars....it will mean beer is taxed double in most cases but so be it. |

Ban alcohol, smoking, fatty food, taking it up the arse, and don't let anybody into the UK without a TB check.
That should save a bit. |
|

I could probably get you a place on Devon's NHS board if you're interested CMAT, you sound like our sort of chap.

Can I fiddle my expenses?

No ban on junkies, alcoholics, bad drivers, or those with hiv/aids. And yet if you have sh1t eyesight, through no fault of your own, so bad that you cannot properly function, certainly couldnt work, like me... You have to pay for it all yourself. That isn't fair. But hey ho, life isn't fair. Get over it. Too many people whinging about the NHS. Smokers should get treatment because of all the tax they contribute. Fat bar stewards, fk them until we are allowed to tax their diet to smithereens, |
|
By:
I applaud them.
You can't bar treatment for injuries caused by a patient's own bad driving or a suicide attempt, simply because the case has to be proven and in most case the treatment has to be immediate. But if their life isn't in immediate threat hospitals should be able to turn them away. |

It is a tricky one, but I think sh1t food should be taxed.. Mcdonalds, pop, crisps, chocolate bars etc. like I say it is very hard to come up with a set of rules that are fair... Hard to just tax fat and sugar. I mean what about apples? Olive oil? Peanuts? But until we can get some money off fat fkers i dont think we should be letting them rinse the NHs. At the end of the day most of them are idle and weak, it is self inflicted and currently we dont get loads of tax off them like we do p1sspots and vhain smokers.

Smokers are a different case.
The tax they pay on a packet of cigarettes could be regarded as extra insurance for any treatment them might need as a result of smoking. |

What about those with self inflicted sports injuries? Clogging up A&E with their broken limbs, torn ligaments etc falling off their bikes, horses, mountains these selfish bastards should be turned away.
|
|
By:
but then a lot of sports involve fitness which keeps you healthy.....so thats fine imo
|
|
By:
I can only hope TheBaron was taking the pee
Playing sport is hardly a self inflicted injury |
|
By:
You don't need to do sports to be healthy. Vigorous exercise often results in injuries that end up in A & E and time off work If you want to do sports fine but don't expect others to pay for it, get insurance.

You don't need to do sports to be healthy
no but all the experts agree that you need to do physical exercise - they say vigorous exercise 5 times a week for at least half an hour |

game of footie once a week and training midweek was great.
kept me in some kind of shape. some players do get injuries. tbh came across more a @ e incident in my time as a postie...... |

Think I have been to a and e only three times, two were for sports injuries.
