Can anyone recommend a free photo editing software, all I want to do is put a few of my friends heads on other photo's and pictures.Do i need photo editing software or will the standard stuff that comes with the pc be up to that task.

You can download a free trial of Photoshop.

Yep, I'd agree. Trial Photoshop or the Corel Draw suite (my personal favourite).
It should be mentioned, however, that both these require a certain level of experience to achieve good results. |

You can use paint which is already on any windows pc.
Open paint ALT PrtScn (Together) (copies the highlighted window to the clipboard) CNTRL V (Together) (pastes the image into paint) The selection button (rectangle with a dotted line) allows you to highlight the part of the image you desire CNTRL C (Together) (copies the highlighted rectangle or shape to the clipboard) CNTRL V (Together) (pastes the image e.g. into another paint window with your other image open) Move it into place save your new image |
