The consensus within science is that the variant of **** sapian that we refer to ourselves as has been around for 100,000 years. It's really the only theory in town now that thinking man we know of today can be believed to have be able of thought all this time from carbon dating of cave paintings, with the theory that only thinking man could appreciate art.
If this is true doesn't it show humanity for the skid stain that it is that after 100,000 years development we havnt even managed to come up with anything that really resembles utopia? Let the next species become alpha and have a go cos humans have failed badly. |

Any altruistic system is inherently unstable, because it is open to abuse by selfish individuals, ready to exploit it.

This motion that's going through parliament at present about being able to call MPs to account shows the system and indeed humans for their flaws.
The idea is fine, that MPs committing serious dereliction can get recalled and dismissed. The problem with it is that a very particular rule has been implemented with it, that MPs that go against the very manifestos and pledges that got them into Westminster aren't constiuted as being permissible. The reason is that it might lead to further corruption with all calling for MPs continually to be dismissed because their being in parliament doesn't suit which is a damming indictment in itself, but to say that breaking the very pledge that you were voted in to represent those voters not serious enough to get dismissed is an utter joke. How is it possibly democracy or anything like it if people get voted in on a ticket and then dismiss those parts that won them the votes? |

It is not possible to continue reproduction within more and more little faults, everything breaksdown and mental and physical imperfections become more with each generation until we are no longer human...
certainly we are at the point where we cannot be sure if everyone is completely human...there seemsto be an assumption that everyone is but mankind might be losing this as it breeds and something changes. |
