Sorry c.c. I've been out all afternoon so have only just seen this and have missed the rugby today as well. Great wins for England and Wales which was good to see but I didn't get involved with punting in either match.
Yes I did play for OA's for awhile but I ended up getting very injury prone with horrible ankle and knee problems so I stopped playing full stop and got into cricket and golf a bit later in life. Why do you ask? |

Yes and no, I haven't had a bet today yet of any description which is a bit weird and for a Saturday as well, that last happened about 35 years ago when I was still at school

About 6-8yrs ago I had it off on a rugby bet,and in my euphoria said I would buy the whole forum drinks.CC not only moved nearer me,but to this day still reminds me I owe him drinks.He definitely gey his Squash 1 day.

been out socialising with friends ... I mistakenly thought one of them had played cricket for the Old Alleynians but it was a team with a similar name. He hadn't gone to that school either ( it was an old boys team) but he was a kind of guest when he was a medical student at Kings.
It all happened before I knew him which was why I was a bit hazy on the details. |
