Brazil football legend Pele is in intensive care as his condition worsens, according to the hospital.

The 74-year-old was admitted to hospital last Monday with a urinary infection, local media reports said.

He underwent surgery for kidney stones on 13 November.

It's not going very well in intensive care for the lad. The nurses can't stop him dribbling. Plain

Get well soon Love

From The Globe and Mail Toronto..

Brazilian great Pele, who is being treated for a urinary tract infection, is in good condition and is expected to leave the hospital in the next few days, his spokesman said Thursday.

The Albert Einstein hospital released a statement saying the 74-year-old Pele was transferred to a “special care” unit after his condition became unstable, but his spokesman and personal aide denied his health condition deteriorated.

“He is fine,” Jose Fornos Rodrigues, known as Pepito, told The Associated Press. “The problem was that he was receiving too many visitors and that wasn’t helping, so they transferred him to a calmer area to continue receiving the proper treatment. He should be out of the hospital in a few days.”

You'd have thought he was gravely ill reading some UK press reports.

It is not the question if a footballer from 100 years ago can be remembered!..that is of no consequence, you may as well ask will
Einstein be remembered, that's all.
