Tone's going through it at the moment.

The charity Save the Children recently gave him a “global legacy award.” The Charity's UK ceo is Julian Forsyth who used to be one of Blair's "psecial advisers." Forsyth’s salary at the Save the Children came under scrutiny last year when it was disclosed that he was being paid £163,000 a year, including more than £22,000 in performance-related pay. He has since taken a pay cut to £140,000.

Staff at the charity have protested at Blair's award, and a cynical article by the Guardian had Blair's office releasing a very long statement soon afterwards explaining why he deserved it!

Now an online petition to have Blair's award revoked has reached 90,000.

Save the children?

All those hundreds of British soldiers that died in Afghanastan and Iraq were somebody's children - who had children themselves.
