You made the right call mac. My chinese wasnt far off being bloody awful. Knew there was a reason why I didnt get chinese takeaways.
rob, a mate of mine in the catering industry warned me off Chinese takeaway's and curry houses, he reckons they use copious amounts of chemical flavour additives such as Monosodium glutamate, and you don't get labeling on the cartons to know this. The last chinky I had years ago was utter shíte
Having an absurdly healthy day, foodwise. Fruit for breakfast, trout with veg for lunch and prawns with veg for dinner. No booze until Friday.

Can't be bothered to cook as I did a roast for wife n kids last night, so, parma ham and melon tonight.Kids had left overs from last night

Instead, Mrs TR bought an ASDA make-your-own pizza and topped it with steak, chicken, ham, red onion, jalapenos, pineapple & chilli cheese.
Had it with salad - actually pretty good! Much better than any takeaway pizza and only cost £4 odd for a massive one.
Going to see The Drop tonight - Jimmy Gandolfini's last film
