The guy's being played by the Sun, unsuprisingly his paper of choice.
He's come out with a "manifesto" which contains such gems as: "Must work 4 years before you are entitled to any benefits" So you leave school/uni, work a couple years, lose your job, can't get another immediately and obviously have little savings at that stage in life, so are made homeless as you've no support whatsoever, fantastic. Not everyone has a supporting family they can swan back in with, or can get another job with the snap of their fingers. |
