I can't say I never get the Sun , I treat it as kind of a t&ts and non news supplement to go with the Times.

That's true. In fact they've only supported labour outright in 5 of the last 10 general elections. They're too trendy and flighty to be pinned down to one party.

Never mind what the tories may or may not have done. Labour sexed up the dossier to justify a war. That stinks. That is worse than privatisation, the falklands, selling council houses etc. and they still got in in 2005. Why ffs? 100,000 died in Iraq, people could have voted for the greens the loonies, the lib dems anyone but they let the fkers back in.

I usually avoid talking about politics/politicians as it is mind numbingly depressing.
I don't understand the "pull" that America has over us and why when they say jump we say how high, given that we are supposed to belong to a big European club ourselves. Undoubtedly major corporations and financial institutions hold great sway in our predatory (is there any other sort)capitalist system. "give a man a gun and he can rob a bank, "give a man a bank and he can rob a the world". War is big business, and in the USA the bottom line comes before anything else.
More worrying is the lack of knowledge in the the most powerful country in the world Ambrose Bierce is often quoted..."War is God's way of teaching Americans geography." which is spot on, outside major cities in America the ignorance is stunning, I won't be holding my breath that they will cop themselves on any time soon and demand better governance. The fact that we dance to their tune is quite unbelievable.

If there was, it was marginal. Besides, they were going to war in Afghanistan with or without a sexed-up dossier. Iraq was just a bonus. Not sure why they felt the need to justify it tbh. Just made them look bigger c*nts than they already were.

That is off the top of my head along with faked photos of Iraqi tank divisions near the border and allegations of what was in effect bribery to have UN resolutions passed. Don't have time to google sources on those but I'm sure there will be stuff online.
