anyone know if i can travel in december and return in january on a passport that expires in december> someone told me i cant travel 6 months before expiry date but that dont ring true...why put an expiry date of december when it runs out in june...any help preciated

Many places put the 6 month rule on just in case you get ill or die or something and cant return for a while. I would extend my passport if I were you.

Good advice above. I wouldn't fancy you chances of getting in or OUT of a country on that passport!
