Santa Maria del Mar is a must if you are interested in architecture. Have a good one.

There are some terrific restaurants but they are very pricey. If you like Mexican food, Best value one that I can recommend is La Taqueria at about 20 euros, which is terrific cuisine.

Take a mask with you.
The stench from the drains is everywhere.
Tell your missus to wear her handbag over her shoulder where it can't be snatched from her easily by thieves riding bicycles.

Have a nice time, the weather is okay at the moment but it turns cold at night this time of the year so take something warm to wear just in case.

Beware any women selling walking up to you selling single flowers.. they're pickpockets.
Pickpockets everywhere in Las Ramblas, just be careful.
Boquera Market (on Ramblas) is worth a visit if you like fish!
Getting around Barcelona is easy, great tube system, buy a day ticket for 10 (?) euros, covers a whole family,
not just one person.
Camp Nou is a must, nearest tube stop Les Corts, 10 min walk from there. Buy tickets (23 euros approx)at your hotel, or in city centre,
queues likely at the stadium.
Lots of cultural stuff to see in the city, Parc Guell is worth a visit too.
Not sure if the fountains are displayed this time of year, maybe one or two evenings a week?

I am going there on Friday for a stag weekend. The groom is in the army. I am not. Have pity on me. If anyone asks you if you have seen dead man's shoes you will know it's me.

You might be okay there.
I swam in the sea at Malta on Sunday. A girl told me the water was still 20 degrees.
The outdoor pool at the hotel was too cold for me though.

I have heard about "the Ronaldinho" where a crafty theif dazzles you with his nonexistent football skills. They don't even have a ball!

I was in Jamacia on Sunday, I asked a Rasta what the temp of the sea was, he said "It Lukewarm"  I jumped in and it was cold. I said "Oi you said it was Lukewarm"  he said "Well it look Lukewarm to me"Laugh

sea temperatures aren't that much down on a normal Summer over Europe  - i'd hazard a guess and say late March  is the coldest time for swimming
