I never said the Crusaders were peaceful. In fact they were quite the opposite. So much so that even Saladin was shocked by their brutality. What I did say was that if they had done the job properly, we would not be having these problems now!

There is no reason for any British person to visit the middle east,
unless it is the military. Britain was the first industrialised country and must be the first to withdraw from the global market.
Nothing and no one should leave Britain and everything should be produced within Britain. 
Youmay feel we need oil but no, there are still vast british reserves and the US already has secret technology that is a new form of energy.
This has been the case for about 40 years.

We will now probably never know about that regarding Islam. However the way the Muslims are treating the Christians in parts of the middle east, we might find out on a localised basis!

The grub is good all around the med. To go from southern spain all the way round to Morocco, with a couple of diversions, is the way to go Burton.   I haven't done it all, but quite a bit. A feast for anyone who likes food.
