Not the best idea to buy so large on the last day, I suppose the constraints of the programming schedule make his quest damm hard if not impossible, in a strange country.

Just watched , really enjoyed it. He doesnt seem very shrewd to me but then it is tv. Did he pay £500 for a tonne and a half of onions that had been discarded by others. And the people that he bought them off are on four quid a day? Yeah right. Looking forward to delhi next week.

India is completely fascinating, I had a chance to go years ago but as part of the trip involved going to The Ganges and seeing the disposal of the bodies I had to give it a swerve as I just did not fancy that at all.

I was lucky enough to go two years ago when England beat them. Was great and cant wait to go again. Very tiring place though, the constant haggling and disorganisation and stuff not working is just so draining in the end. They wont steal from you but they will try and rob you blind, to your face, with a big cheesy grin on the face which I found quite endearing.

enjoyed the prog...obvious tho that a lot of his 'decisions' were editorially driven (no way does greenhorn drive hundreds of miles to buy chillies in a field, seller knowing that tv prog is f00ked if he doesnt make a deal & thus hiking price etc etc)
