For the first time since i started receiving my UK Government pension, it has not arrived in my bank account, I have already spoken to my bank who say i must contact the Pensions office which i have done. Now this has to be done by phone or email as i live abroad. The PO say replied to my email saying it will take up to 10 days to reply. My personal situation has not changed (no i am not in jail!!) at all, except for getting older and poorer!  Surely if there was a change of any kind by the PO, they would notify me yes?

Has this happened to anyone who might be reading this?  I wonder if someone has managed to divert it in some way.  All kinds of nasty things are going thru my mind. Of course there might be a simple explanation like a delay of some kind along the line, but at 74 one tends to think the worst hahaha.

Thanks to anyone who might be able help!

If you mean State Pension I don't know why it would be delayed, but if it is a civil service pension I found this:

Government’s flagship mutual, MyCSP, has failed to pay some retired civil servants their pensions on schedule, after a shift to bring its payment functions in-house hit an IT problem, the Guardian reported on Saturday. A fault in the new IT system “meant payments have been delayed to civil service pensioners living overseas".

Whether right or wrong, that was very good work from you, Fenway. Hopefully, it's applicable here, the question is answered and problem sorted.

Come home for a few weeks and make out you're an asylum seeker.

You'll soon get a few quid.

If you got a 'still alive' form to fill in a month or so ago and it was not received back they suspend payment.

Hahaha you are joking? Actually sounds feasible. They will have sent it to an old address if that is wat really happened!
