Does anyone recall a piss-poor quiz show from about 25 years ago where the compere (eminently forgettable) used to try to add to the tension in the same way Chris Tarrant later used to tell people they'd won something like 1/4 of a £million, when he'd almost whisper the words "You've just won five pounds" but bewilderingly he'd often shout when the stakes were raised in such an excitable tone "YOU'VE JUST GOT YOURSELF TEN POUNDS!" - As if they'd won a holiday to The Bahamas! 
I only know a couple of people who have a slight recollection of that shítty show but none of us can remember the name and I wouldn't have a clue where to start spending a lot of time checking it out - someone on here is sure to remember it as well and hopefully they'll recall its title.
PS - I have a feeling it might've been one of those daily shows at around 5pm on ITV but I'm far from certain.

I remember seeing a clip recently from the Golden Shot when Charlie Williams said "Well done, youve won a fiver", but that was nearer

MMM - it's definitely not that show...I reckon the series probably only ran for one season so that was likely to be for just one month.
