It's trying to pretend it's an objective investigation but as is normal with channel 4, it's started with a premise and is finding the pieces to fit that premise. Also the host "interviewing" the "expert" is clearly nothing of the sort, the to and fro is clearly all scripted and merely a vehicle to move the script/premise along.

I noticed when discussing socially mobility they didn't mention grammar schools. Bacon said his father went from a council estate to a lawyer. I bet he went to a grammar school.
