Seriosly, I know the feeling well, had a 7 last week on SI 1 hole for a 74 whereas a 5 would have equalled my best of 72.

Strange game is it not?...played last week and shot 90 on both occasions..same course , same conditions..wierd

Ok..it was a par 5.good drive into the wind(220yds approx) fair 5 wood just short of the pond leaving me 160 yards to the green..the wind was strong so clipped a 5 iron..hit the bank and dropped in to the aqua.Reloaded, same again.7th shot onto the green and of course i three putted, gutted.

I played with our club champion on Saturday, he is a young lad off plus 2. After a disappointing 2 over on the front nine, he came back in a six under 29!.

Reminds me of the time I had a round with some guy from North Korea, the prick had a 10 on one hole, but still went around in 27.

I was really impressed with Twizzle`s score of 74 until I read it was a net score off a 12 Handicap.

So he really took 86 which is rubbish.

25 years ago I won a CISCO tournament beating all comers. Not being a member of a golf club at the time, they gave me a handicap of 18 and I shot a 70 for a net score of 52

^ That's called cheating as you must have known you weren't an 18 Handicap, so hardly any glory in winnning
