The UK's top military officer General Sir Nicholas Houghton says
" In the last 13/14 years there has not bee a single terrorist attack launched from Afghanistan'

Well there was not a single terrorist attack launched in the 13/14 years before that on us, or indeed
in our entire history!
I have not read such a load of guff in my life
and it still does not explain why our troops were there

Perhaps we should attack a few more small countries who never threatened us

Then say, we must be right, they are still not attacking us?????

Nothing wrong with our foreign policy other than we attacked the wrong countries.
I would have attacked Andorra, Palau and Grenada.
