It's unlucky to tread on them you know. Fortunately I mad it to the Shop and back without crossing one with my foot including a particularly tricky area where some of the slabs have cracked.

Now as long as I say my name backwards eight times first, I should be able to safely put the kettle on for a cup of coffee.

The cracks  referred to, are the ones between the paving stones.hth

To be fair, it's both as some of the slabs are cracked.
