1) It's safer, especially in heavy traffic
2) They do not hold up Buses or cyclists
3) Fastest mode of transport in rush hour ( 3 hour ) traffic, but is not encouraged by councils.?

And why are black-cabs allowed in them, it's a private chauffeur service, why should they get any preference?
I didn't realise that any laws of the road applied to motorbikes.
And buses? Bloody great monstrous things! Even bigger than the Chelsea tractors that everybody hates.
