the BBC's been showing old hammer horror films on the assumption that Byron and Shelley came up with the original ideas. Anyone that has read Jewish folklore may have heard about Lilith(the first vampire) who was Adam's first wife. They also write about the Golem... a creature of clay shaped from clay and infused with a dead mans matter (frankenstein prototype)
of course the posh English kids invented it all mister BBC. nice rewriting of history.
