Apparently it was all the rage back in the eighties.

There were one or two players, as well as the documented Kirk Stevens issues, who used to like a bit of charlie for sure.

I don't think any of them used it as a performnace enhancer, although I could see how it may benefit you provided of course you got your dosage exactly right. Much more common to use cannabis or beta-blockers to help your game, I would be a 35 point a frame better player when I'd smoked a joint.

I would think it would boost confidence and help beat fatigue to the likes of Higgins, White and Kirk Stevens....Definitely gave them some sort of edge.

must have been good gear Jimmy reckons he would have won 10 world titles.

I always wondered why they coloured the white chalk blue.

Jed what specific affects would smoking a joint have on you to improve your snooker game so much. Just curious as I find it hard to believe that there would not be some negatives to counter some possible positive.

No you just imagined you were a 35 point better player after a toke.
Iiin reality you got the munchies half way through a frame and fecked of for a hamburger

Coke helps you concentrate keeps you awake and if you break your cue you can chalk the end of your raging hardon and continue.

What's that stuff he takes in Peaky Blinders?

i would not be surprised if most of it is over elaborated just to help sell his autobiography.
Report flushgordon1 • November 3, 2014 9:13 PM GMT
Steve davis must have been on 2 packs of prozac a frame.
Report YOMOMMA • November 3, 2014 9:20 PM GMT
i remember hearing rumours he was on drugs and that the snooker authorities let him off because he was popular and used to get crowds in. that's disgraceful.
