occasional poster Panglima horse trained by fiddler Goodwill late 70's, early 80's
By:
Fiddler Goodwill? You got to give us more info on him!
By:
Arthur Goodwill known as Fiddler trained at Newmarket but its almost impossible to find anything on the internet on him, a small time trainer but it seems unless you really delve deeply into the net its almost like he never existed
By:
Whit a shame.
Crackin' name, that. |
By:
I guess he was known as Fiddler because he played the violin

Oddly, this is just about the only forum I've ever signed up to for which I haven't used a horse's name.

Freebooter used to post on here, but wisely keeps away from this place since becoming a TV star.
My user name is a line from Ocean Rain, a song by Echo and the Bunnymen which was also the name of a 1999 2yo who won a maiden for Clive Cox, a man fortunate not to be the owner of the nickname Fiddler. |

Can we ask who Freebooter is ?
By:
You certainly can, pumphol, but the name is a bit of a clue.
If you know who thetsarevich is on the Horse Racing forum, he's one of her colleagues. |
By:
Sadly my head is in the sand with who's who, I spend far too much time on chit chat

Velasquez, I reckon you know that Foinavon is a mountain up North which is often shrouded in Scotch mist. A nearby mountain, Arkle, used to post on here many moons ago. It's possible that someone may have...nah shirley not.
By:
Foinavon, I have a painter friend up Sutherland way and I had the chance to go there some years back, but I don't really like travelling. I've seen the landscape on the telly - looks spectacular, especially in the winter.
By:
Unfortunately I've never been there but intend doing so some day. I've seen photographs and it really does look awesome.

Been posting on here since 2002. Thousands of posts and no one has even noticed me. Just shows what a waste of precious time these internet forums ******* are. I`m hurt .... and pissed having just returned from the pub
![]() And it hurts me even more that my intellectual friend velasquez started the thread ![]() .... I better not tell captain cuttle who visited the forum for years but hasn`t posted since suffering a severe stroke 3 years ago ![]() |
