The game is scheduled for Saturday and my flight is on Sunday. What are the chances of the game being moved to Sunday or Monday? I notice that Real are scheduled to play on the same day...
Are they playing Champions League the following week?
A CL game on the following Tuesday means they will definitely play La Liga on Saturday. A CL game on Wednesday makes it more likely the La Liga game will be Saturday, but there's a chance it may be Sunday.
Also, unless its a top match, don't buy tickets online - very few games sell out and you can buy from the stadium.

Agree with the line above. I went to Barcelona back in March and bought tickets online in advance assuming it would be sold out. It was the same day as the Barcelona marathon, so there were an additional 20k tourists in town who all seemed to want to round the day off with the footie. As it turned out, there were plenty of tickets available at the gate (well the box office) an hour before KO. Admittedly it was only Oviedo (or was it Osasuna?), but it was 7-0 and Messi scored a hat-trick. So long as it's not Real Madrid or Athletico Madrid (or perhaps local rivals Espanyol), you should be OK leaving it until late.

Chaser - can't remember exactly, but I do recall it be better value than anything in the UK. €40 - €50 I suspect for a seat at one of the ends. You get a great view, but worth bringing some binos if you want close ups.

Ozy... that's the cheap seats, prices go up to 560 euros for top spots, eg down the front by the benches. I paid 140 euros last season when they played Espanyol, but it was a one off, so what the heck, and I was half way up seated on the half way line viewpoint.

I can only assume you are going through a tour operator?
Have always been pleasantly surprised by how cheap the tickets are (start from 30e I beleive) direct from club. Have had great seats for not a whole pile more that that.
