Did Steven grow up going to church every day? His speech -- flowery, uplifting, but almost content free -- brought to mind a new-age preacher. The irony was that when he eventually did get to the point, he was often right: for instance, when in week one, he argued for collecting the tee-shirts rather than driving miles merely to flog a sack of spuds.

I was sad to see Ella Jade fired, mainly because I still have not worked out who she reminds me of, and it will now bug me to the end of the series. She had to go though. You have to doubt (and so must Lord Sugar) the dedication of someone who wants to work in film or television production but who does not have their own Youtube channel. All the same, her pathetic pleading at the end did not make pleasant viewing and might perhaps have been left on the cutting room floor in view of her recent bereavement (her father died last week, it was revealed on You're Fired).

The winners' treat -- an Icelandic lagoon -- was arguably the best for many a series, and a welcome return to form by the treat-buyer.

Lauren was perhaps fortunate not to be taken back to the boardroom. She, and not Sarah, was running the subteam which uploaded the videos without titles or descriptions, rendering them invisible to searches. It was a task-losing blunder.

Solomon did well running the winning team, and showed he'd taken on board how the task would be judged when he immediately overruled his subteam to choose the collaborator with the biggest number of followers.

I cant believe so many people actually think this show is real and that these people are picked for anything other than to create an entertaining programme.

I was told its actually written by the people who were responsible for The Office but that is kept quiet for obvious reasons.

Of course it is contrived for entertainment purposes but is also real in the sense there is a £250,000 prize at the end. It is like Dragon's Den with an obstacle course.

Actually, Lindsay, the swimming teacher who effectively resigned last week, might have done better on the actual Dragons Den, as Duncan likes to invest in franchising existing successful businesses. Not that any of the Dragons puts up £250,000.

The Dragons dont actually put up money to lots of people who accept their offers. Whats shown on TV and what happens afterwards are two different things.

Would any self respecting entrepreur appear on that drivel of a "show" - NO?
They would be on here selling their highly successful laying website to all the deserving and perceptive forumites.
You know you want to look, it's www.lay ..... no, I don't want to be accused of spamming.
You won't find it on Google, only selected forumites are invited in.

Roisin is the Irish lady accountant -- not sure she covered herself in glory making candles last week. Gave a stern lecture on the importance of maintaining margins then sanctioned a fire sale with team members plucking prices out of the air. And she personally scuppered a high value sale to the hotel by offloading all the reed diffusers to a gift shop at a far lower price.

On the plus side, I got to learn there is such a product as a "reed diffuser".
