Typhoon jets scrambled from Lincolnshire to intercept a Russian plane that refused to divert..could have been a terrorist situation yet the BBC didn't think it important enough to even MENTION the incident on the six o clock news..on a scale of uselessness the BBC must rate -10.

One of the typhoon pilots waved a kenny everett 'brother lee' character hand in the thumb down position .
apparently they were waiting for it to fly right over Maidstone before intercepting.
