Broken - a feather duster, the shaft snapped where it meets the handle. Done it as I was dusting the cobwebs from the room ceiling corners. Will have to order another.

Thrown Away - a shaft for a 5 Wood that had sheared. It had been rubbing on my golf bag and worn down until the weakness caused it to snap. Was going to have the head re-shafted but bought a replacement for £35 from the Bargain Bin of a well know Golf store. I guess I should throw the head away now as well?

A placepot slip for Leicester and a bag of radishes that had been hiding at the back of the salad drawer. They were 6 days out of date and had turned fairly ugly. Thing is, I don't even remember buying the things.

An unopened bag of salad greens went into my compost bin.I read somewhere that these salad bags are the most discarded food item in the whole country.Bought a new one this morning and ate half of it.Here's hoping for the remainder.

In the last 2 weeks,2 Champagne flutes have been broken, one by me and the other by my wife, though were being used for Prosecco.
