why has there never been a repeat showing of the gambling drama big deal ! staring ray brookes as gambler Robbie box ,used to bet on anything that moved and if memory serves wa a decent prog in the 80s ,cant understand why its not been repeated on one of the terrestrial channels!. would love to see it again !

Father-in-law hopes it doesn't come back as he was often mistaken for Ray Brooks. Not looking good at 70, I bet Brooks looks better now.

brooks was on eastenders a while ago didn't look too bad considering he done his bollax most weeks on big deal !

It is strange how certain old classic shows are not repeated.
All these sky channels. I always hoped Prospects from years back and even Game On which was more recently on BBC2 would be shown again but both vanished for good. Must be copyright issues?? |

anyone remember a comedy show possibly 60s or early 70s Robert Lindsay was in it called" get some in "about young army "trainees or cadets ,it seemed funny at the time but I would have been around 14 or 15 and would have found it amusing not so sure about now though ,the sergeant was a right khoont and his catchphrase was " the name is marsh ..B.A.S.T.A.R.D marsh "
