just seen him on tonights repeat,ive seen better buskers outside Leeds Market.

I saw him recently thinking it was a concert but it was actually
an 'intimate evening with Art' which meant half the time he was reminiscing rather than singing. He couldn't sing all of Bridge over Troubled Waters because he had'nt finished arranging it for backing by guitar rather than piano. Poor show but his fans still gave him a standing ovation. |

There used to be a programme on radio 2 each evening called "The John Dunne Show". in which they had the after 6 interview with a "celebrity". The programme ran for many years and when it finished John Dunne said the only interview he would never want to do again was Art Garfunkle who he said was the most obnoxious human being he'd ever met.
