the mighty........i agree but only the terry mccann ones
Of course mate, I agree. Later ones were watchable but not a patch on the Terry McCann ones. Waterman and Cole were a great double act.
Today's was from 1980.
From memory, and imo, the show was at its best circa 1982-1985

Remember the first episode when arfur goes into a pub & sees a nice dolly bird in a tight pair of jeans & gives her the once over, within a couple of years the sight of a decent bird led the character to saying " oh my gawd " 
part of that episode was filmed two streets away from where i lived in brixton at the time...........happy days of my youth seem a long way away now
