"Gone Girl " the film-reviews

Seven is a great film, as was Fight Club, but the rest is so-so. I know people who wax lyrical about The Game though.

I was especially disappointed by Zodiac, given that I'm quite a fan of slowburners in which not much happens for long periods.

Of the four you mentioned, HM, I think I preferred Zodiac! Seven is ok, if overrated (8.7 on IMDb!), but the other two are gash.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Seven is very good but not a real top notch film, its no One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest imo.

Is this yet another film that paints men out as the root of all evil in a woman's world ?

Just back from watching this. A huge shopping bag full of wank. So many holes in the plot.

I had the extreme misfortune to be invited to watch this film when it premiered some weeks ago.  It's one of the worst movies I've ever had to endure.  Not wishing to appear rude amongst company I had to endure the full two and a half hours; it was akin to torture.

How it is ranked so highly on IMDb is beyond me, in my view it is absolute garbage.

id give it 6/10, not as good as the hype surrounding it.
