Could he have been infected from a book? Maybe an Ebola victim was checking for symptoms etc. And you know how some people lick their fingers when turning a page...I think you should avoid any exchange of body fluids, just to be safe.

Since when has being shunned by your neighbours been a bad thing exactly? I lived in one house for 8 years and I didn't know the name of the bloke who lived next door. (I did know he was some Conservative party H.Q. lackey though and he looked very odd so it suited us just fine.)

I know it's not funny, but has ebola got a brother called tom?
Sorry - it made me smile and I feel bad about it ... I won't post it.

There are 12 houses in our cul-de-sac, and we've been here 9 years.

I've spoken to next door on either side, and next door but one on the right, which is the end of the road. Never spoken to next door but one on the left, and have no idea what their names are.

Never spoke to any of the 4 who live in the house exactly opposite, but if I'm out the front cutting the grass or doing something to my car, they wave if they pull in or are on the way out in their cars. Mrs CMAT has spoken to the lady of the house in the street. Strangely, if she sees her on the till in Tesco, where she works, Mrs CMAT gets 'blanked'

Spoken to those either side of it.

The house in the far right opposite corner is full of jehovahs witnesses - say no more.

Don't talk to mine. Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right.

They don't call on me anymore. I joined the Witness Protection Scheme

I had a Jehovah's Witness at the door the other day and he said they can tell what will happen in the future.

Rubbish, he didn't even try and duck when I punched him in the face.

Many years ago when I lived in a tower block, one freezing winters night there was a knock at about 7-00 p.m. It was two elderly women, one English, one Jamaican,  and both Jehovahs witneses.

I had nothing to do so I invited them in for a cuppa and a chat, and they seemed quite eager to get out of the cold.

At about 8-15, after I had questioned everything they said, and also had a go at their ridiculous magazine cover, they said they had to go.

Not often you hear of them asking to leave LaughLaugh

Much camaraderie and joviality between the clowns and the jokers, though. Usually on then subject of cats or twitching curtains! LaughLaughLaugh

I know and talk to everybody in the entire community. We have our disagreements but at the end of the day we all look after and help each other. Doors are never locked day or night.

I did a slight reworking of it (I like dyslexic jokes) and got a chuckle out of the wife.

We don't have much to do with the neighbours though.
