Just purchased a new home phone,soon as the pricks ring just type in a code,job done,no more calls,worked 100% up til now.Code blocks all unwanted numbers.

One guy came up with a brilliant solution. Paid BT to change his number to an 0870 one then kept the cold callers on the line as long as possible.
Reckoned he made about £300 before they cottoned on and stopped calling him

Answer the phone, and tell them, you are recording this conversation, and you will be billing them for wasting you time as you work from home. Usually works.
