I remember seeing Dr Who years ago on UK Gold - One of the episodes had the doctor talking to a Minister/Rev or Priest about recycling becoming like a religion? Thought it was nuts they were talking about this in the seventies?

Cannot remember if it was Jon Pertwee or Tom Baker or Peter Davidson. Any fans out there that can remember the name of the episode? Stuck in my head. need to get it out.

dr who - always talkin rubbish?

Anyone else think that the latest doctor is also one of the poorest?

It's a good job they've got Lenny Henry waiting in the wings ready to pick up the baton.
Or perhaps Dawn French as the first female doctor?
Mind you they'd have to widen the doors on the Tardis to get her in it.
Beam me up Scotty ffs.

I actually like the new Doctor, last couple have been too young for me, nice to have someone of a certain age back, more a case of most of the stories bar one have been pretty poor imo

It's his voice pumpy, he strangles his words like Miliband.
When he speaks quickly it comes out muffled.

Clarity of speech is a must in a male actor, the voice is very important.
It's a mystery to me how they came up with him for the part with so many to choose from.
Although I suppose I can put up with him until he re generates into someone whose presence appeals more to me.
Now that young wench he has with him is the business, I've got no complaints with her.

LOL Dr, she is rather nice.
Probably a couple of series before he changes again I would think, I know his accent is not everyone's cup of tea but I'm pleased to say it doesn't grate on me.
