On radio 2 Chris Evans has a slot in the morning where he invites kids to phone in to talk about their day.Every morning we have these gushing, cocky over confident, severely prompted by mummy and daddy 9 to 12 year old's trying to sound ultra grown up.....NO...you are children, act like children and sound like children.Stop trying to impress. Its false and it comes across as false......right...got that of me chest, carry on.
Don't listen to Chris Evans. Another BBC gravy trainer Terry Wogan, Bruce Forsyth, Jonathan Ross ... and on and on the train goes, only stopping occasionally to pick up a new (well connected) passenger.

Must admit to never liking Chris Evans, and certainly never listened to his radio show.
He doesn't do it, or "The One Show" for the dosh as he is seriously "minted" (just one of his many Ferraris is said to be worth £5.6 million)!
James, my son, appeared with him on his Friday slot, and says he is a decent kind of guy.
Here is James's cartoon for Movember.....[ This image is no longer available. ]

I hate that part of the show - why on earth would any sane listener want to listen to what some kid he doesn't know is doing that day - atrocious broadcasting. I normally just switch straight over to another station - I think Evans started doing it to show that he was a suitable host for a family slot whilst proving that he was incapable of entertaining anybody - the parents have to shoulder some of the blame - in their heart of hearts, they must be bored to death of what their kids get up to, and it can only be some sort of cosmic revenge that they choose to inflict it on the nation

They should bring back the notion that kids should be seen and not heard. So many are far too precious thinking they are sprinkled with star dust when they are just about capable of asking if I'd like fries with that. Hardly any of them have anything worthwhile to say and most do it far too loudly or at the other end of the spectrum have some kind of "disorder". Other than that they're okay.
