At least twice on the TV news headlines yesterday.
Why not just say that he was murdered?
Do his family, friends and the nation as a whole really need to be reminded of the sickening manner of his killing?

That's a good point. TV loves this kind of so called "drama" - an atrocity that beggars human comprehension gradually becomes commonplace. People eat their dinners while watching the news...in the western world...meanwhile, back in Corrie...
First thing they should do is drop the bullsh1t theme tunes with the drums and trumpets, etc. The Scottish news actually gives a constant backing track to the news summary. |
